In Zimbabwe, police clashed with anti-government protestors in the capital, Harare. Opposition supporters took to the streets despite a police ban on the protest - which was upheld by Zimbabwe's High Court. Police fired tear gas and used water canons to disperse the demonstrators. Around 80 people were arrested and several were beaten by police.
