Under the hood is an electric motor producing 115 horsepower and 199 lb-ft. of torque. Range is expected to be 83 miles with 126 MPGe in the city and 105 MPGe on the highway. • Electric cars give you a smooth silent pull of power. The e-Golf has 3 modes: normal, eco, and eco-plus. Regenerative braking helps to recharge the battery. The e-Golf is quiet and comfortable. The inside of the e-Golf looks just like the regular Golf models which is a good thing since it seems German cars offer a higher level of luxury and features.
