In this After Effects Tutorial I’ll show you how to create realistic Ink transitions using ONLY standard effects! • Download the project file here: https://gumroad.com/manueldoesmotion • Of course you could use footage of ink drops, the thing about footage is, you can’t really control a lot. • So we create everything in after effects. • In the first step we add a new solid, add a mask and form some kind of splash shape. • Next, we animate the mask expansion. • After that we need to work on the look and make it look more like ink. • We use the turbulent noise effect to create textures for the edges and the shape itself. • Then we use a displacement map and the layer style settings to make it look much more like real ink. • Finally we use one of the solids, to reveal some footage. • I use music from Artlist: https://artlist.io • If you have any further questions, let me know in the comments below. I do my best to answer all of them! • Subscribe to my channel here: •    / @manueldoesmotion   • I am very curious how this tutorial inspired your work! • Put the link in the comments below or even better: tag me on Instagram. • @manueldoesmotion •   / manueldoesmotion   • my website: https://www.stein-hauser.com • behance: https://www.behance.net/stein-hauser • • #aftereffectstutorial #animation #motiondesign
