On today's How-To Diorama with Scale Model Craft - Friday 10/18/2024 at 12 noon US pacific time, I will show you the waterwheel I scratch built earlier this week, and the iron gate its supposed to open and close. I haven't figured it all out yet, so I will be asking for some of the great ideas I typically have from viewers. I also started the basement of Barretts Coffee house, and I think its going to be a fun part as I have a whole bunch of details ready to paint to stock it up. I started reading Raymond E. Feist's books in the 80's when I was in the army. I love the characters, and over the years have built images in my imagination based off of these stories. Fast forward to a few months ago when I decided to build a playable Dungeons and Dragons diorama, based on the images I had been walking around with in my mind since the 80's. It's a very fun build for me bringing back wonderful memories of Mr. Feists books based in Midkemia.
