Our beloved daughter and Harry's big sister, Alma, is 6 years old on Wednesday, April 4th. In this vlog we are in the city center of Stockholm to buy a birthday present for her, but Harry falls asleep in the stroller before we get to the first shop. Alma is a child that doesn’t wish for many gifts, it’s usually one thing and rarely a toy. Turning six she’s wished for a new swimsuit. But her Grandmother has already bought one so we buy a bathrobe which is good now when Alma goes to swimming school. • We are also looking for a backpack because she starts school class in the fall. It had to be good to carry things for an excursion but should also hold an A4 paper without it getting wrinkled. First we look at Fjällräven but they’re too small and expensive. Then we find a Haglöfs, that’s larger with more compartments. Mommy Joanna worries whether Alma’s going to like it but daddy Axel says that when you give her something cool and functional she is first suspicious then she begins to use it and loves it. • At home in the evening, the parents wrap the gift on the kitchen floor. • On birthday morning, the family wakes Alma by singing ”Happy Birthday to you” before eating birthday breakfast. • In the vlog we answer Question of the Day, what Alma wants for her Birthday. • Keep posting questions.
