In this video, we'll take a look at a modern plugin-based take on the classic Juno 60 - the TAL-U-No-LX - a Juno VST. • The TAL U NO LX is a completely rewritten emulation of the Roland Juno 60 with a beautiful new engine and GUI - it's a successor to the TAL-U-NO-62, the original TAL Juno 60 VST - and it's a wonderful replacement for the analogue classic. • It has a very beautiful authentic GUI and a bunch of wonderful and fantastic presets - including original Juno presets and custom-designed TAL presets, which sound amazing and it emulates the Juno 160 warmth to a tee. • The controls include the arpeggiator, the portamento, LFO, ADSR, VSF, HPF, DCO and the classic chorus, which you can get as a separate plugin - the TAL Chorus-LX, but the bonus having it as a digital plugin, both with the TAL-U-No-LX and the Chorus-LX, you don't have to suffer the noise of the Juno, while to some, you are losing the flavour, but, you are always free to add it by other means. • But don't get it wrong, the texture is still there, meaning that what makes Juno so special and sound so wonderful is there. The offering from TAL only costs over $50 which in comparison to the authentic Juno is insane. If you want an actually affordable way of getting the sound of the Juno, there's really no better way of going about it. • Obviously, nothing will replace the original, but moving forward, we couldn't see a better way of going about it. • So what do you think? Are the digital replacements the way forward, utilising midi keyboards instead of physical synthesizers, especially with how the market is shaping up to be, with the ability to not only generate the sound precisely but also add the noise to make is sound old-timey and authentic? • Well, if you think it is indeed the way forward, make sure to check out our channel for more hardware and software reviews, anything from midi keyboards, to reverb plugins and micro studio monitors. • But going back to the TAL U-NO-LX, the TAL Uno replacement. • The biggest strength of the TAL UNO LX is how authentic the sound it generates is. The TAL teams amazing work allows you to not only play the classic sounds you've heard and love but also tune them to your liking. • The TAL v2 of the Juno 60 is better than ever, as it's not just inspired by the classic it IS the classic, at least as a Juno synth, which is what some people were craving for, especially with the price of the physical synth. And you can grab this TAL V2 U NO LX for just around $50. • Unolx has wonderful presets. The TAL-u-no-lx presets designed solely for it are just as great and the replicas of the original Juno sounds and just like other tal synths, affordable like nothing else. • TAL audio are known for their attention to detail and love for analogue products that allow you to achieve the warm and wonderful sound of the old school classics with the ease and comfort of the modern setup and we have to be honest the juno synth vst was/is one of the most desired VST synths out there. And the tal-u-no delivers the sound you heard in many classic movies, shows, songs and performances. • So indeed, the togu audio line tal u no lx is more than a wonderful addition to anyone's digital synth library and won't disappoint even the user who has a Juno 60 right next to them in the studio, because with the digital application of this plugin, you are free to manipulate the sound and its effects with such ease, that it just might beat the original in some cases • Do you know any other Juno plugin out there?
