It's been more than half a year since the launch of the PS5 and one of the biggest complaints from users (aside from stock levels being painfully low) is that the storage available in the default model is rather small. This new update and the ability to add additional storage has been met with mixed responses, as it has now become clear to many SSD buyers that the type of storage required for PS5 is much more advanced in architecture than the SATA hard drives and SSDs of previous generations.
