Sponsorships, everyone wants one. Let's face it getting free stuff is always awesome. Getting paid to workout and take pics and go to expos - that's the dream, right? Sadly it's not as easy as just going to the gym 7 days a week, dieting 24/7/365 - it's more than just being a pretty face and a body that people are envious of. You gotta have substance. You gotta bring more to the table. You have to be informative, have a great personality, be funny, be inspirational, you have to be different. Nowadays you have to be able to do more than take a great pic, you have to interact with people, draw people in, be someone that people wanna talk to. You have to provide value to the company that could potentially sponsor you outside of just taking a pic or working out. • Don't just ask a company for a sponsorship, tell them why they NEED to sponsor you - outside of you workout and have won a few local shows. Tell them what you, as an athlete, will do for them. Sell yourself and your package to them.
