https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Nic...) • I made it a point to visit this historic Saint Nicholas church and take a peek inside on my last trip to Prague. It’s definitely the most magnificent Roman Catholic church I’ve ever seen. W. A. Mozart performed here while he lived in the city. It’s unlikely he played this particular piece at this church; - he left it unfinished, and it’s not one of his better-known works. This is the Fugue in G Minor KV.401 (375e), completed after Mozart's death by Maximilian Stadler (1748 - 1833). It's not clear if Mozart intended this fugue to be played on organ or on piano. The bass part is written on a separate staff, indicating that it requires either two people on one piano, or foot pedals for the bass. • This is an analogue recording I made on my Yamaha CLP 330 digital piano using the church organ sample. • See more of my videos at this url: / @10jpmorgan
