This video shows how to become Thane of the Pale in Dawnstar. If you have not finished the Civil War, or sided with the Stormcloaks, you must complete the Daedric Artifact quest Waking Nightmare before you are able to start working on Assisting the people of the Pale for Jarl Skald. This video covers the complete process to become Thane, including what quests will count for helping citizens and a few easy methods such as investing in businesses.
