Israel Adesanya is considered an elite striker in the sports of kickboxing and MMA. But he has shown a willingness to attempt and improve his wrestling and jiu-jitsu throughout his run in the UFC. In Adesanya's second UFC fight he attempted a lateral drop. This move is typically used by experienced wrestlers, but it did not stop him from at least trying it. The move didn't work, and commentators Daniel Cormier and Dominick Cruz who are elite wrestlers laughed at how outrageous the attempt was.
