However, when I consume carbonated water, my digestion is better. • It could be because: • • Carbonic acid could buffer the pH • It acidifies the digestive system • Bottled water pH — 7 • Perrier pH — 5.5-5.8 • Coca Cola pH — 2.5 • Battery acid pH — 1.0 • When you go below 7, things are more acidic.
