Why is there smoke coming out of your hard drive, Seymor? • Steamed Hams re-assembled from nearly 8 hours of The Simpsons. Stammer ended up making over 400 gigabytes of pictures from it. • Stammer program created by ‪@wildergarden6455‬ with code at https://github.com/ArdenButterfield/s... • Project details: • • Ripped the DVDs using Handbrake and libdvdcss. • • Assembled wanted footage together in DaVinci Resolve • • Steamed using Stammer • • Upscaled using AVISynth+ (script below) and Virtualdub2 • • Re-assembled in DaVinci Resolve • I wanted to measure the time it took to run the stammer command, but couldn't. I started it once at 8:00pm and another time at 10:45am, but both times they finished while I was sleeping. Both failed because it couldn't find frame 3123 (2:04), so I duplicated frame 3122 (with Abe Simpson and Mr. Burns at the graveyard).
