Remove the tail cap, insert the battery, and connect the power cable. Replace the tail cap. • Next, charge the battery. Lift the rubber flap over the power port and connect the power cord. Plug into the wall outlet and charge the flashtorch until the indicator light on the charger turns green. Disconnect the power adapter. • To turn on the flashtorch, press the tail-cap button. • The flashtorch turns on in full power mode. From there, if you press the LED button, the power is reduced to 50%. A second press will reduce the power to 33%, and a third press cycles it back to full power. • To prevent overheating, or if you try to connect the charger while the flashtorch is on, it will go into lock mode. This is indicated by a flashing LED button. • To exit lock mode, turn off the flashtorch using the tail cap button and allow it to cool down. • For additional safety, there is a safe turn-on mode. • To enable safe turn-on mode, press and hold the LED button while turning on the flashtorch with the tail cap button. Continue to hold the LED button for three seconds. • Now, the next time you power on the flashtorch with the tail cap button, it will require 5 quick presses of the LED button to turn on. • If 5 quick presses don’t happen within 3 seconds, the flashtorch will go into lock mode and the power must be cycled again with the tail cap button. • To disable safe turn-on mode, once again hold the LED button and press the tail cap button. Continue holding the LED button for 3 seconds. • Be safe, and enjoy your FlashTorch T250!
