The size of this drum makes it perfect for rock music but equally suitable for any style. • The Pearl SensiTone Premium Beaded Brass snare is a 6.5 x 14 all-brass shell that is 1.5mm thick. The drum has a great sounding crack to it but the depth also gives it warmth and a nice resonant tone. Pearl's SuperHoop II and modern ARL Tube Lugs with their bridge-style design, along with the brass shell all come together perfectly to give this drum its great sound. A really nice hardware feature is Pearl's Gladstone-style throw-off with Click-Lock technology. This easy to use throw-off locks your wire settings in place no matter how hard you play.
