How to Propagate Hypoestes Phyllostachya or commonly called Polka Dot Plants through stem cuttings. Polka Dot Plants or Freckle Face Plants are native to South East Asia, South Africa and Madagascar. Today it is the common houseplant cultivated around the world. Hypoestes Phyllostachya can grow 3 feet to 1 meter in it's native habitat. The leaves of it are heavily spotted with pink splash or other colors such as white, red, and orange brown. Nowadays, there are more new cultivars with different splashes and dots.
