You don't have to spend a lot of money for lenses for your new DSLR. Ebay is full of film-era quality glass at very affordable prices. Yes, you will be manually focusing and setting your aperture, but it's a cheap way of getting into photography. • Correction: I couldn't change aperture because your adapter was set to lock, which keeps the lens wide open. When it's on unlock aperture works normally. • The Nikon adapters don't need a glass element like the Canon ones do, so consider that a better alternative (Less is more here.
