This one has been on my radar for years now if I had to take a guess but I never came around to actually completing the thing till the day before yesterday where I played it with the intention of leaving with a completion. • To my surprise I was playing really well so it only took me around 2 hours to learn and complete but take that with a grain of salt since I didn't check the clock. • Nevertheless, this was a joyful experience all things considered. The base gameplay that can be found here is of decent quality regardless of it having some questionable moments scattered in. • One of these include the 27% gap which is by far the hardest gap in the entire level and it really feels like a miscalculation of difficulty with how much of a chokepoint it is. Otherwise, you also got plently of finicky transitions, especially when you change gamemodes for half a second. The worst offender here is most definitely 32% - this transition has no reason to even exist and it would have been so much better if you stayed a wave and simply switched size, idk what the thought process was behind this gamemode change especially since you can easily die by being too far to the left. • So far so good, visually this level has aged – a lot. Personally, I wouldn't call this rate-worthy even giving it the benefit of its age but I wouldn't complain since it's a very fun level to me that would even be part of my favourites list if it didn't have some drawbacks that I briefly went over earlier. • Difficulty-wise I saw people call it Molten Core/ Sonic Wave range and I most certainly see that as plausible. If you don't mind beating unrated Levels and want a decent Nine Circles Extreme to beat I would personally recommend to try this one!
