In this video we will show how to create a USB Disk that is bootable and can install Windows 7 on computers particularly that do not have a CD or DVD Drive Accessible. • You Will Need: • A computer already running windows 7 • USB with nothing on it or will be erased and is larger than 4 GB • Your Original Windows 7 Installation CD • Follow Along in the Google Document Here : https://goo.gl/2GouiG • Open an elevated Windows command line window by clicking • Start, All Programs, Accessories, right-click with your mouse on the Command Prompt menu item and select Run as Administrator. • C: and press Enter. • CD C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32 and press Enter. • DISKPART, then press Enter. • LIST DISK and press Enter. • SELECT DISK 5 and press Enter. • CLEAN and press Enter. • CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press Enter. • SELECT PARTITION 1 and press Enter. • ACTIVE and press Enter. • FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK and press Enter. • (may take a couple minutes, depending on the USB drive size) • ASSIGN and press Enter. • EXIT and press Enter. • Insert Windows Disk • D: and press Enter. • Switch to Windows CD Drive. Substitute d: for your Windows CD-ROM Drive • CD BOOT and press Enter. • BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 I: and press Enter. • This command makes your USB Drive Bootable. Substitute I: for your • USB Drive letter • XCOPY D:\\*.* /S/E/F I: and press Enter. • This command will copy all the Windows Files from your CD-ROM to your USB Bootable Drive.
