F.E.A.R. is a survival horror first-person shooter developed by Monolith Productions and published by Vivendi Universal Games and Warner Bros Games, released in late 2005. The player assumes the role of a member of an elite special forces team tasked with investigating strange occurrences in a dystopian near-future. As the team attempts to capture a high-ranking executive, they are drawn into a web of conspiracy involving the mysterious and terrifying Alma, a powerful psychic entity that haunts the twisted corridors of the company's headquarters.
