Perfect summer plate - for lunch or dinner enjoy our silken tofu with juicy tomatoes 🍅 Plant based take on the Italian caprese. You can find juicy tomatoes from your local farmers market in the summer months. • Serves 2 • preparation time - 15min • Ingredients • 1 pack Clearspring Silken Tofu ( optional: Refrigerate before use. ) • 4-6 Fresh Juicy Organic Tomatoes • 1 tbsp Clearspring Yaemon Tamari Soya Sauce • 1 -2 tbsp Clearspring Extra Virgin Olive Oil • 1 handful Fresh Basil • Black Pepper to taste • Method • Wash the tomatoes and cut it into thin slices. Wash the basil leaves and let it dry on a tea towel. • Open the pack of tofu, hold the tofu in your hand to drain the water and place on a chopping board. Slice the tofu around the same size as the tomatoes. • On a large serving plate, arrange the ingredients in the order of Tomato, tofu and basil in between or scattered on top. You can lay it flat or stack it to make a small caprese tower. • Drizzle the Yaemon Tamari followed by olive oil.
