Krolia is awesome, we’ve been waiting since season two to see Keith’s mother so of course all of our focus has been on her. But there were other characters and events in the episode Bloodlines. Krolia was in Warlord Ranveig’s base, there she found out about a super weapon. Ranvieg intercepted an undocumented shipment of potent quintessence. It’s more powerful than any quintessence they’ve received from the Galra Empire and it has some unexpected effects. The undocumented shipment was probably on its way to Haggar or Prince Lotor. Haggar’s team was working on Operation Kuron (the clone Shiro project) and Lotor was working on his Sincline ships and artificial gateway to get through the rift. Both of these things required quintessence and were secrets from the rest of the Galra Empire. The potent quintessence either mutated something into the super weapon, or it managed to bring to life a hybrid Ranvieg created. I speculate that Narti was created in the same way. Quintessence can change appearances and other aspects. In a Netflix thumbnail for Voltron: Legendary Defender, Keith has one of Krolia’s marks on his face and is wearing his paladin armour. This picture of him is likely from season six. As is the D D Allura or Romelle.
