The Portuguese people do this effortlessly, always supporting each other. • It was a day of pure excitement and joy as we were invited to visit one of Lisbon's biggest football stadiums and spend the day touring every corner of the stadium. #digitalmarketing • On entering you are greeted by the friendliest staff who speak and understand English very well. You are granted a photo opportunity to be added on to a magazine that they sell to you at the end of the tour, which adds you as the participant in all of its areas of the stadium in one big newsletter. My son took this as he loves football. #makingmemories • We got access to viewing the change rooms and because there was a match at the stadium we also got a sneak peak into the change room and the players set up area. We got to meet the SL Benfica mascot which is an AMERICAN FALCON, that does a fly over before every match, landing in the centre of the field. • Visiting the Benfica Corporate club was my favourite, it's a place where all the famous footballers and their families sit and it was really quite an impressive lounge. Walking out of the tunnel, I felt like a true footballer, even though I dont know anything about football. Everything is a learning experience. The museum was pretty impressive, kept separate from the stadium. There were countless trophies to view, some small some pretty huge and shiny...haha! Be prepared for lots and lots of walking if you are doing any of the tours. • The Benfica official store was really fascinating to see and they had something for everyone to purchase as a souvenir, reasonably priced and expensive items too.
