Cremations on the Ganges River in Varanasi India

Public cremation is customary in the Hindu religion. It is seen as very sacred, if possible, to be cremated along the Ganges River in Varanasi, India. I took this video while on an educational trip to India. The purpose of the video is to allow those unfamiliar with this practice to get a glance of the ritual. • I kindly ask that people be kind and respectful when leaving comments, especially to those that are unfamiliar with such a practice.
