We’re going to show you how to make an adorable DIY felt holder with a small sneaky surprise. A DIY our friend of the month, Badtz-maru would highly approve of! The felt holder has two overlapping flaps in the back, perfect for holding all kinds of goodies, like candy, gum, and even coins. This Badtz-maru felt holder is sure to keep your small items safe. Now let’s get started! • Materials needed: • Badtz-maru template: https://bit.ly/3xz3h0n • Black, white and yellow felt • Yellow felt • Big sewing needle • White thread • Scissors • Marker • White marker • Glue gun • Steb-by-step instructions: • (01:31) Step 1: Print and cut out Badtz-maru template here: https://bit.ly/3xz3h0n • (01:37) Step 2: Cut out Badtz-maru’s head from the template and place it face down on black felt • (01:48) Step 3: Using a white colored pencil, outline all the pieces of his head on black felt and cut them out. • (01:59) Step 4: Use a No.2 pencil to trace his eyes on the white felt and cut them out. • (02:06) Step 5: Keep repeating the steps from the other pieces of the template. • (02:09) Step 6: To assemble Badtz-maru, overlap the smaller pieces of his head. This will be the back of the candy hodler. • (02:19) Step 7: Place the other piece on top. Make sure the spikes of his hair are pointing to the left. • (02:23) Step 8: If you need help with sewing, make sure to ask an adult. To create a running stitch, poke the needle through the felt and pull the thread through.
