Yoder Lumber Forest Management promotes sustainable practices, such as wildlife management and improvement harvests, along with purchasing standing timber. • The Forest Management team meets with landowners to determine their needs. A walk through the owner's woods help formulate a plan. During and after harvesting, Best Management Practices will be used to protect not only your property but the environment: • Trees are tagged by the Procurement Forester, on the basis of over-crowding, disease, and malformations. Procedures are followed to ensure the right trees are being harvested and the remaining trees and land are protected. • All of Yoder Lumber's loggers are certified Master Loggers and stay up to date on training and practices.
