How to REPLACE Xenon LIGHT BULBS in SKODA OCTAVIA III

Tutorial on how to change a light bulb in your Skoda Octavia III (2013,2014,2015,2016 and further). • You probably got an orange light bulb warning light on your car's dashboard which said: Check front-right dipped beam! or front-left dipped beam. • This means one of your Xenon front lights is busted and you will need to replace it. In this case, I replaced the front right Xenon bulb and the model was Philips Vision D3S - 42V/35W. You should probably stick to the same bulb as you have in your car, so both sides are the same. The bulbs themselves are quite expensive, they run about USD 150 or EUR 120, so it is not a very cheap endeavor. But it is fairly simple to replace. • ⮕ Just locate the lights cover from the inside of the engine compartment. • ⮕ Snap it off in a counterclockwise motion. • ⮕ Then stick your hand inside the tube and snap off the light bulb with its box also in a counterclockwise motion. • ⮕ After that remove the electrical cord. • ⮕ Now you are ready to check what model it is on the back of the box. • ⮕ When you know the model (ex: D3S) head over to your local car parts shop or order it here: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Standa... • ⮕ When you have it in your hand, attach the electrical cord, stick it inside the tube and screw it on clockwise. • ⮕ Re-attach the cover also in a clockwise motion. • And you are done.
