Basic introduction to searching for research papers using pubmed database. • Last week I shared a video on how to develop your keywords for your literature search and in this video we are using those keywords to carry out the literature search. I am doing the examples in PubMed but I also use google scholar, and I tend to employ citation tracing as one of the main ways to find papers. Using boolean operators, truncation, searching for phrases, refining your search by title/abstract, and creating an alert.
