Do this by going to Settings/System Settings/System Information on your PSP's XMB. If you have a version lower than 5.03 simply update your firmware. If you are above 5.03, I'm sorry but you're fucked. • • Please read this carefully, It's not difficult to do. Just follow these instructions. • • Now, Down to Business..... • --------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Connect your PSP to your Computer. • • *1. Place h.bin file into the root of your Memory Stick. • • (The root just means DON'T place this file into any folder, Just drag it to the Removable Disc icon located in My Computer.) • • *2. Place the ChickHEN folder in the 'PICTURE' folder on your PSP. • • (Your PSP will create it's own folders and directories if you format your Memory Stick using your PSP, On your PSP XMB (XrossMediaBar) go to Settings/System Settings/Format Memory Stick. • • If you have files on your Memory Stick you don't want to be deleted just create a folder named PSP (Use capital letters) and inside that folder make a folder named PHOTO and then drag the ChickHEN folder there (So it would be PSP/PHOTO/ChickHEN).) • • *3. Place the CFWEnabler folder in the 'GAME' located inside the 'PSP' folder. • • (If you formated your Memory Stick using you PSP the 'GAME' in the 'PSP' folder. If you created your own 'PSP' folder simply make another folder inside named 'GAME' and then drag the CFWEnabler folder there (So it would be PSP/GAME/CFWEnabler).) • • *4. Now that everything is in place, to heighten your chances of getting ChickHen to run restore your system settings by going to Settings/System Settings/Restore Default Settings. • • After your PSP has restarted and the setting are restored go to Settings/System Settings and change both the UMD Auto-Start and UMD Cache options to OFF. • • *5. Then go to Photo/Memory Stick on the XMB and press (X) but DON'T click on the ChickHEN folder just yet...... • • Now, This might take multiple tries before it actually works but it WILL work. I have two different techniques. • • First Method, Hold the (DOWN) button on the directional pad down and then as you are entering the ChickHEN folder DON'T let go of the (X) button. So again, hold down the (DOWN) button and instead of letting go the (X) button hold it down. • • Second Method, Only hold the (X) button down as you enter the ChickHEN folder. • • If it doesn't work your PSP will freeze and shut down, don't worry just turn it back on and try again. When it works your PSP will flash colors and it will restart on it's own. • • Just go to System Information and make sure it says 5.03 ChickHEN R2 • • *6. Once ChickHEN is running go to Game/Memory Stick and start the CFWLoader 3.20, once it comes up select Start/Flash, your PSP will restart and you are almost ready to play free games. • • Your System Information should now say 5.03 M33-6 , if it does you did it. • • Now press (Select). a menu will pop up, the settings on this menu are very important. If these settings aren't right your ISO's won't run. The settings should be... • • CPU CLOCK XMB (222/111) • CPU CLOCK GAME (Default) • USB DEVICE (Flash 1) • UMD ISO MODE (M33 driver) • ISO VIDEO MOUNT (NONE) • • Now press select again to exit menu. • • Congratulation you have succesfully hacked your PSP 3000 • • Told you it was easy. • • To Play ISO games you have to create a ISO folder in the root of your Memory Stick. • • Just create a folder named ISO, Drag it to you PSP and then drag the .iso files into the ISO folder on your PSP. To play them, run ChickHEN and then run CFWLoader then go to Game/Memory Stick and play your ass off. Enjoy. • • (You can NOT view the original root while in M33-6 mode so you'll have to reset your PSP and reconnect it to your PC or MAC)
