With non-recourse financing there is no personal guarantee and the mortgage financing is simply qualified based on the assets qualifications. Banks see non-recourse financing as an increased risk typically because there is no recourse present for the actual owner of the property personally which makes it more difficult to obtain as well as qualify for.
