Here's another rare episode that includes the original commercials, thanks to a second, unedited copy provided by epaddon. I preserved as much as possible of my original copy due to its somewhat higher a/v quality. • Of special interest is the restored material starting around 26:30. There's an extra bit of explanation from John to Arlene regarding the prior round that was snipped out of the syndication copy, as well as his spiel instructing viewers on how to contact the show. Being able to restore the old commercials is nice enough, but here we have about a minute of pure, undiluted John Charles Daly, actual new WML content that's never been seen on GSN. • One of the sponsors on this program is Robert Burns Cigarillos, which holds two interesting connections to the show from a couple of weeks prior, Feb 9th, 1964. First, one of the guests was a stop smoking counselor. I'd imagine they wouldn't have had a tobacco sponsor that week. The other connection is that the mystery guest was George Burns.
