Aaron Burr (Applejack) introduces the principal female cast members, the Schuyler sisters - Angelica (Rarity), Eliza (Fluttershy), and Peggy (Cadance). The trio go downtown to see happenings around the upcoming revolution. They espouse their desire to find a mind at work, especially ones willing to give equal rights to women. • Historically, the Schuyler sisters were part of one of the richest families in New York and despite the abolitionist themes in the play, the largest slaveholders in the colony. However, Angelica's passion for women's rights is accurate. Eliza actually liked going by Elizabeth and her family called her Betsy . Eliza rhymes more easily, though. • Furthermore, New York was definitely not the greatest city in the world at the time. Boston and Philadelphia were larger, to say nothing of London, Paris, or several Chinese cities. • Another song done.
