This product contains the IGR Pyriproxyfen, which will stunt the growth of juvenile insects, preventing them from developing into reproductive adults; and the adulticides Etofenprox and Prallethrin, which are synthetic pyrethroids, will target the pests’ nervous system. This combination will target the entire life cycle of an insect pest for long term control. • Before using Pivot Ultra Plus, we recommend you wear your proper personal protective equipment, or PPE. And remember to keep children and pets away from treated areas until the product dries. • To treat fleas inside the home, apply Pivot Ultra Plus to all locations where fleas could be harboring, including the carpet, furniture, pet bedding, and baseboards. Hold the can at arm’s length, about 24 inches away from the surface being treated, and spray in large, sweeping motions. • You want to apply quickly, at a speed of about 1 foot per second. An area of 80 to 100 sq. ft. can be treated in about 10 seconds. • For spot treatments, hold the can 24-36 inches away from your target and spray. Make sure the product makes contact with all pests in the area. • Pivot Ultra Plus does not provide an instant kill. It can take several hours for pests to die, and up to 2 weeks before you notice a difference in pest activity. Affected flea eggs and larvae will be unable to develop into reproducing adults, so they’ll die off with no chance to repopulate. • After application, exit the area and keep all people and pets off the treated areas until dry and any vapors have dispersed. • Pivot Ultra Plus has a residual that will prevent flea re-infestation for up to 3 months. We recommend you spray quarterly for year-round control.
