Black Betty, Ram Jam. • Down by the bayou, in a shack so gritty, • There lived a wild legend, known as Black Betty. • With a roar like thunder and a spirit so free, • She danced through the swamps like a mystical spree. • Oh, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam, • Always in trouble, but didn't give a damn. • Her hair was wild, her eyes so bright, • She’d turn up the party in the dead of night. • When Betty walked in, the jukebox played, • Folks gathered 'round, and nobody strayed. • She’d stomp her feet, with a rhythm profound, • And even the gators would gather around. • She once rode a hog through the middle of town, • Wearing a feathered boa and a sequin gown. • The mayor just sighed, and the sheriff did frown, • But everyone else just laughed and clowned. • One night she decided, on a whimsical whim, • To climb up a tree and swing on a limb. • The branch snapped off, she fell with a thud, • And laughed so hard, she rolled in the mud. • Bam-ba-lam, Betty would sing, • Turning the bayou into a swing. • She’d play her banjo with a crazy flair, • While raccoons danced, and owls would stare. • Black Betty, the life of the bayou scene, • A wild card woman, and the swamp’s own queen. • She lived life loud, without any pity, • And left her mark on every gritty city. • So here’s to Black Betty, bam-ba-lam, • A legend who never gave a single damn. • Her spirit so wild, her heart full of glee, • Forever she'll dance in our memory. • ---------------------------------------------------------- • Video made with: • Magix video tm • pixabay, pexels tenor • editing by R D A • #janvanbaol #instrumental #ramjam
