It's also a spotlight on the value of women, the importance of feminine energy and leadership, the continued unacceptable degradation of women and the natural world as a norm, and the role that women can play in helping to restore balance in this world. • Every fifth breath that we take comes from the Amazon, and yet we are destroying our forests at the rate of an area the size of a football pitch every second. That's an area the size of England every year! These are our life support machines, we can't just keep looking the other way. Very soon the natural world is going to be struggling to take care of us, let alone our children and grandchildren, and that's just not an option! • We aim to make it normal for every single person to start giving money money every month to plant or protect trees. We want to move millions away from yet more consumption every month, towards the replenishment of our forests and the cooling of our atmosphere that we need so much. • We just need to do it, and so we are asking you to step in and help us at the binning, right now when it matters most. we're doing all we can to raise the seed funding that we need to build the infrastructure needed to get all the tools and services that we're currently creating out to you, meanwhile we need to keep going and we need to start getting trees into the ground. • So here's the plan: we're looking for a 1000 founding funders: men and women who see the beauty and urgency of this project to lay the foundations by setting up a monthly payment of what ever you can manage to help kick start the crowd funding. • When we reach 1000 donors we'll start planting trees, which should be a minimum of 4000 trees/month in southern India, probably considerably more. When we hit 2000 it'll be a minimum of 11,000 trees/month, when we get to 10,000 donors it'll be over 1 million trees funded every month through our beneficiary projects in the tropics. • ...but it's the first 1000 that are crucial...you are literally the oil that gets the whole thing going.
