How to make moon cakes with kids is a fun long process, but it was worthy. There were 2 parts. I cooked and prepared the filling and doughs in advance. (the hard part) They did the rest with my guidance. Because it was for kids to learn, I had to remind myself to step back and let them be. • As a homeschool mom, I want to make our homeschool day fun for my kids. And they did. The kids had a lot of fun using the cake molds, weighting the doughs and fillings, and wrapping the fillings. • Wrapping the filling with the pastry is the delicate process for the little hands. But they did better than I expected. • They did them all and had great laughs. Even it was a long day for me to make the filling and dough, but it was worthy to see them learning and laughing. • Watching them having fun, I know I had made their study day exciting and entertaining. • • ✤ Vitamix Blender: https://amzn.to/3EKYzxX (Affiliate link) • ✤ Moon Cake Mold set: https://amzn.to/3CIJpaE (Affiliate link) • ✤ Coconut Oil: https://amzn.to/2XLWTn3 (Affiliate link) • • ✤ About Me: Hello, I'm Thanh, a homeschool mom of one energetic boy and one active girl.
