This video will show you how to Reset the Memory of the Eleven Rack and restore it to factory condition. In this video we look at how to do a reset from the User Menu of the Eleven Rack. • Before you consider doing a factory reset, you should backup all rigs because they will be erased during the reset. A reset will also reset all user settings to their factory settings. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP OF ALL RIGS AT ALL TIMES! • You will NOT lose your currently installed firmware when you do a reset. When you Reset Memory, the Eleven Rack reverts to factory conditions for the currently installed firmware version. So if you are afraid of losing your Eleven Rack Expansion Pack, don't worry, you won't lose it. Even if some glitch did happen, as long as your Eleven Rack is registered with Avid, they will know exactly what firmware version you should have access to. • Since there are so many possible settings for the Eleven Rack, sometimes doing a reset is a good step to do for troubleshooting.
