At the top of the list of Goan Street Food is the yummy and warm Ros Omelette 😋 It’s a coconut-based Chicken Curry lovingly and generously poured over a lightly seasoned (and usually thin) Omelette. It’s savoured with toasted pav with some freshly chopped Onion on the top. It’s a whole meal that feels like home. And now, here’s the recipe so that you can try it at home— wherever on the planet you are! • Try this soon! • Mog Asum ❤️ Let There Be Love • Ingredients: • 500 grams Chicken (curry pieces) • 1 teaspoon Salt • Juice of 1/2 a Lime • 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste • (Marinate for at least 20 minutes) • For the Curry paste: • A drizzle of Oil • 1 large Onion • 1 inch piece Ginger • 7 to 8 Garlic cloves • 1 large tomato • 1 Cup fresh, grated Coconut • 1/2 Cup Water (or as needed) • For the Curry: • 2 to 3 Tablespoons Oil • 1 medium-sized Onion, finely chopped • The prepped Chicken • 1 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala powder • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder • The Curry Paste • 2 Cups Water (or more) • A Slit Green Chilli (optional) • Fresh Coriander, finely chopped • For the Omelette: • For 1 Egg, you’ll need • 1 Tablespoon finely chopped Onion • 2 pinches of Salt • Green Chilli, finely chopped • Some Fresh Coriander, finely chopped • #ExperienceSusegad • Music Credits: • Claudia by C Alvares from the Konkani movie ‘Nirmon’.
