Activate the caption in the settings of this video, so you can understand the content of this video, thank you! • I will submit this engine, for as many changes as possible, in search of better results, as commented in the video, and then apply to a new project. • Initially I noticed the lack of compression when turning the steering wheel, soon I realized that the reason was in the excess of dead area, in the duct that connects the two cylinders, being the total volume of the engine of 2.66 cm³ and another 1 cm³ of dead zone. So the first step was to increase the stroke of each piston, thereby increasing the compression. • In practice, the results were very encouraging, where for the first time increasing the piston stroke from 13 mm to 18 mm, the engine speed was added at 100 rpm, against natural logic and 50% more power. • In fact, with the increase in stroke in the pistons, I corrected part of the flaw in the project dead area in the duct that connects the two cylinders . The length of the duct is associated with the width of the crankshaft, but the width of the duct could be reduced. On the other hand, I intend to install a regenerator inside this duct, where in another simple Alfa model, I obtained a 20% improvement in its performance, with the installation of a regenerator. • It was evident in the video, that the working gas (air), is not absorbing all the heat from the test tube, although the glass is a bad thermal conductor, thus being able to isolate the heat from the outside of the test tube. I can conclude, that this project still allows changes in order to improve the results. • When this engine had a stroke of 13 mm for each piston, the maximum power result was 0.110 Watts. Now with 18 mm of stroke for each piston, the maximum result in power reached 0.165 Watts, remembering that in both tests the same generator, pulleys and lantern are used. • My blog: • http://manualdomotorstirling.blogspot... • My Facebook: • / 292018690925248 • I thank everyone who follows this trajectory, attentively. • Leandro Wagner.
