Do visit Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Philippines! • This cave is like a gem. The actual lagoon is really pretty with crystal clear water that begs for a swim. • How to get there? • Linao Cave is located in Guiuan, Eastern Samar. • From Manila ride a plane to Tacloban. Then from Tacloban, proceed to the van station. There are two service providers, the Van van Tours and DapTours. Travelling time is approximately 3 hours and a half. • If you prefer to ride a bus, proceed to Cubao bus station in Quezon City. Take the Manila to Guiuan bus. Travel time would be approximately 28 hours. • First, be sure to have a tour guide, or with a local familiar with the cave. The local tour guides are very nice and helpful. • Before you reach the cave, you have to trek from the main road around 400 meters of sharp corals.
