This is a Technical workflow video of the steps involved in getting a basic point cloud using sitescape app on a 2020 Ipad Pro, Exporting to Cloudcompare, Exporting to Autodesk Recap, importing to Revit 2020 and linking to Revizto. • This assumes a little basic knowledge of Recap and Revit for the opening and saving of files. as well as rotating the point cloud within Revit. • Disclaimer: I'm not a surveyor, this workflow can be used as a basic reference for existing conditions but is not a replacement for a professionally commissioned Survey. • In my opinion best use cases are: • Single residential as per video for internal and external. (found to be 3-5mm accurate in a single room scan) • As built verification. I'll be recommending it's use on future complex services projects. Where On site verification is required. • Software used: • https://www.sitescape.ai/ • http://www.cloudcompare.org/release/n... • https://www.autodesk.com/products/rec... • https://www.autodesk.com.au/products/... • https://revizto.com/en/
