Also it seems like not alot of folks have the power and heated seats so there wasn't much info on wiring bit. • 1. Disconnect the main battery - This wasn't so easy, there is a small (5 x 5 ) plastic cover to the right of the accelerator pedal, pull it from the top and then pull up hard, its not easy bu t it comes off. Next look back into this cavity and you'll see the disconnect tap, it has a red button on it, depress the button and pull the plug off the post, its tough to reach but relativity easy to pull off. Make sure that the plug cannot tough the post by pushing it down out of the way. See owners manual for more details. See photo 1. • 2. Disconnect the two wiring harness connectors under the driver seat, one is white and one is yellow. Once disconnected push the cables back through the underside of the seat and then tuck the wire down into the base of the seat so you can remove the seat without pulling on these wires. See photo 2. • 3. Remove the (4) seat bolts at each corner of the base of the seat. I had to swivel the seat base in order to get a socket onto the back two bolts. See photo 3. • 4. Lift off the seat, its heavy, I just sat it on a crate positioned between the two seats. • 5. Remove the closed cell foam dust cover. • 6. I located an upfitter manual on the Mercedes site ( https://www.upfitterportal.com/en-us/..., it required an email in order to download, so don't let that stop you if you can't download it without providing an email. This manual showed me the two connections points I needed to make on pages 245 thru 248, one for 70 amps of power going to my DC to DC charger located in the rear of the van and the other was a small 12v signal wire that is used to turn the DC charger on ONLY while the engine is running. See photo 4. • 7. Connecting to the A2 upfitter lug - This is where you can source up to 250 amps of power and is left open for upfitters, this is where i connected my 4 awg wire. See photo 5. • 8. Connecting to the DC+ lug for a light power source that is only powered when the engine is running. See photo 6. • 9. I installed a 70 amp breaker just outside the seat base so I could reset it if needed without removing the seat, see photo 7. • 10. Reinstall seat bolts, dust cover and reconnect the two wiring harnesses and the main battery disconnect. • Thats it, not too to bad once you've done it but nerve racking the first time for sure. I'll post a video of this on my Youtube channel, just google youtube vangonow,    / @vangonow  . • — in Redstone, Colorado. • • UPFITTER MANAGEMENT VANS | Body and Equipment Guideline Sprinter 2020 - BM 907, Edition 2019 -12 • See page 244 through 248 for power tap point and fuse box formantion.
