●ZUTATEN: • 1 l Vollmilch (mind. 3,5 % Fett) • 150-200 g Joghurt (ich verwende griechisches mit 10 % Fett) • Außerdem: • Thermometer (es geht aber auch ohne!) • 5-6 kleine Schraubgläser • _______________________ • ●INGREDIENTS (ENGL.): • 1 litre whole milk (min. 3,5 % fat) • 150-200 g yogurt (I like to use greek yogurt with 10 % fat, because of its creamy texture) • Moreover you’ll need: • thermometer (it also works without, I’ll show you how) • 5-6 smaller screw-top jars • 1) Heat the milk to about 80° Celsius. • 2) Transfer it to a bowl (should be made of glass or china instead of metall). Cover it with a kitchen towel to prevent the formation of a thin fat-layer on the surface. • 3) The milk should cool down to 40° Celsius. • 4) Preheat the oven to 50° Celsius. Pour the yogurt into a bowl and mix it with some tablespoons of the 40° warm milk. Pour the mixture back into the remaining milk and stir well. • 5) Pour this mixture into the screw-top jars which should be clean (I clean them with hot water, let it sit for some minutes and let them dry). • 6) Place the jars onto a baking tray and slide it into the oven. They should stay there for about 30 min at 50°. • 7) After that, switch off the oven and let them sit inside for 8-10 hours.
