Ram Center Console to Jump Seat Conversion Part 3: Converting from a floor center console shifter to a column shifter. • This this video series I continue converting my 4th gen 2009 Dodge Ram with a console and floor shifter into one with a column shifter and center jump bench seat. • Here's a forum post with some part numbers that I used as an initial reference: https://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.... Thanks to the OP! • Parts for the console/floor shifter to the jump seat/column shifter: • column shifter • column shifter bracket (might need to source the column to get this bracket) • column shifter linkage cable • column shifter linkage cable transmission mount bracket (metal) • column shifter linkage cable transmission linkage • steering column shroud/hood/cover with cutout for column shifter • center dash fascia • jump seat • jump seat brackets • center seatbelt • center seatbelt buckle • four part lower center dash console: fold out cupholder, left and right power outlets, lower dash piece • if model years are different you may need to do custom wiring to connect the console USB to the head unit (maestro makes a unit and cable for the older single usb and aux connection) • Parts for the jump seat/column shifter to the console/floor shifter: • floor shifter • floor shift knob • floor shifter linkage bracket (white plastic ring) • floor shifter linkage cable • floor shifter linkage cable transmission mount bracket • floor shifter linkage cable transmission linkage • steering column shroud/hood/cover without cutout • center dash fascia with extended bottom • center console (cubby, arm rest, cupholders, etc.) • center console bracket • harness • HVAC plumbing in dash. Since I did the reverse conversion I don't know the part numbers or what is needed here.
