[Joe] I didn't really know my grandfather very well, however, for as long as I've known him, he has been quiet strength. I've never seen him blow up or hardly raise his voice. My grandmother on the other hand is very emotional and expressive. In some ways, I see their relationship mirror much of me and Alena. Before my grandfather passed away from cancer, my grandmother closely took care of my grandfather to the point where she wore her body out for him to live. My grandmother now lives with constant back pain. • From this example, love is not really all what it seems. So many people seem to search and seek it out without knowing the sacrifices it may take. Love places you in a position of service, not of recognition and gratitude.
