How Easy Is It To Ride Onewheel

We know a lot of you are wondering, 'How easy is it to ride Onewheel Pint and can do it?'. Well we've given thousands of demos and the fact is, everybody can pick it up in a few minutes with a little instruction. We set out to find a first time rider to capture what that learning experience is like to give you a better idea and to provide some tips along the way. • And if you don't pick it up right away, don't be discouraged. Learning new things is what life is allllll about. Enjoy it and when it clicks it will be so rewarding!!! • A couple of our favorite tips: • Bring a friend. Having someone to hold onto in the beginning makes things easier and more fun. Plus they'll be psyched they can try too! • Remember to breathe! Relax. It'll help soooo much. • Think forward when coming up to level. Too much weight towards your chest or back will take you off balance. Focus your energy and concentration out in front of you. • Stand tall. No need to get into a super aggressive knee bend off the bat. The board is balancing you so the less you do the better. Do less. • Look up. You go where you're looking. Don't look down! • Forward is everything. Yea, we already said it, but keeping your concentration and energy out in front of you is so important. Even when you turn, you're still thinking forward which just a slight shift in the direction you want to go and lead with your eyes. • Practice the dismount. Whether you are doing Simplestop or the heel lift, hold onto a friend or a wall and practice it 10 times to get the muscle memory down. • Jump if you need to. The hop off dismount isn't as scary as it seems. A tiny hop off will get you out of any pickle as a last resort. • Have fun! You're learning something new which means that you are a super-rad, adventurous person. Enjoy it! You're a legend.
