The deadline to request a mail-in ballot in Pennsylvania is Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. Voters were in line Monday outside the Lancaster County Elections Office to fill out their application, submit it, and vote in person. Some waited more than two hours in line. • Teresa Jennings from Quarryville said, This is a very important election for our children, grandchildren, and future generations. • Another voter, Jeremy Kleinberg, said, I was surprised to see so many people here. It's good to see so many voting. • County Election Board Chair Ray D'Agostino said, We're definitely seeing a higher volume of people coming in to take advantage of in-person mail ballot early voting. Overall, the county has already received over 70,000 mail-in ballot requests. • That's fewer than the 110,000 requested in 2020 during the pandemic. • #PennsylvaniaElection, #MailInBallot, #VotingDeadline, #EarlyVoting, #VoterTurnout, #ElectionDay2024, #LancasterCounty, #VoteByMail, #CivicDuty, #ElectionParticipation, #ImportanceOfVoting, #DemocracyInAction, #VoterLines, #ElectionReady
