It comes with a blade and new blades are pretty cheap( https://amzn.to/2CM8i99 ) compared to my 14 ones on the gas saw. The clutch starts to slip on the gas saws on heavy cutting pressure unlike the electric unit which never slips. It is a must to run this with a good 12awg extension cord(50ft or less) and 20amp breaker outlet. Time will tell which one becomes my favorite.
