#SCOSoundbites – Joyous Reunion • Concert: Ancient Moon, Present Light • Date: 29 September 2023 • Arranged by Feng Zicun • It was originally an instrumental music and later became an interlude in the local operas such as Shanxi Bangzi and Er Ren Tai. Feng Zi Cun arranged it as a dizi solo piece and applied variation forms and different techniques such as staccato to depict the joy of reunion after a prolong departure. The music unveil a layer after another to reflect the grandeur and gaiety of reunions.
