Ruaha National Park in southern Tanzania is the largest park in the country and one of the largest in Africa. As well as beautiful it is also peaceful with few tourists compared to the crowded parks in northern Tanzania. We always use public campsite #1, beautifully situated at the shore of Great Ruaha River.
